Quinhagak, located in southwestern Alaska along the coast of the Bering Sea, is a small and remote town with a population of around 700. Despite its isolation, Quinhagak offers visitors a unique glimpse into Yup'ik culture and history. The town is home to the Yupiit Piciryarait Cultural Center, where visitors can learn about traditional Yup'ik arts and crafts. Quinhagak is also known for its archaeological site, known as the Nunalleq site, which contains remarkably well-preserved artifacts dating back thousands of years.
