Provided by SuperpagesMy husband got injured at the house we rented when we moved to the MD area from Chicago. The window fall on my husbands hand and injured his finger. We came to the area to start a new job and our insurance policy was going to be started the first day of work. His injury happened the night before the first day of work. Therefore, when we came to emergency room we had no insurance. There were additional expenses associated with the injury. That is why we called Mark Kotlarsky who I found on the internet to help us get some compensation from the home insurance for our medical bills.Mark Kotlarsky never was straight with us and never provided complete and honest information, but instead was constantly insisting that my husband goes for unnecessary medical procedures and physical therapy for the finger despite the fact that all doctors told us that It is not needed, and therefore is a fraud. My husband refused to do any unnecessary medical procedures. Mark Kotlarsky took the case on contingency basis, which means he would have been compensated the percentage of the won sum. That is the lie!!!!Kotlarsky is not capable of winning the case. All people I met in the area told me that he can only lose cases. He makes money by going after his own former clients whose cases he lost.He turned around and filed law suite against my husband for the time he lost reading his file and faxing papers He sues his ex-clients for the amount that is just lower then any retainer for any decent attorney, therefore everyone ends up losing the case with him.See, our case was absolutely clear. The doctor gave us the letter that the procedures that he insisted on were not needed. The initial agreement was on contingency. Kotlarsky could not win anything. The thing is that in order to appear in court you need to fly back to the area since we do not live in the area any more, and hire an attorney who will charge more than the whole amount Kotlarsky is suing his clients for.It is a scam. I looked up cases in MD and found out that there are many victims like us. Be aware that Mark Kotlarsky is that type of attorney who catches clients and then robs them.Good luck finding honest attorney. Regardless who you choose, it cannot be as bad as Mark Kotlarsky.Best.
