Bayshore Pet Grooming And Boarding

Our first visit to Bayshore was yesterday - - and it for sure won't be our last! They were so helpful and informative about how to groom our silky yorkie - - and they did such a nice job - - especially since they had to "fix" what I tried to do at home - lol. Maxxy looks so cute now and came home very happy with a picture and a new toy. They love all their furry clients and treat them as their own. At last we've found a wonderful groomer!!! Thank you!!

They are soooo good! I have been to many places thru-out my dogs life and I will NEVER switch again. He is a toy poodle and they always do a great job. I like a mo-hawk and they always do good. Very thorough, loving, gentle. GREAT experience with the owner and his daughter.

I would recommend them 10 times over. Go to the best.

I saw some complaints against Barry, let me tell you that I have been going to Barry with my dog for years now and is nothing but super sweet, super nice, tons of help and suggestions for keeping my dog up to par and nice looking.

People are always going to hate - my recommendation is to try this place anyways because Barry is awesome and so are all his people.

We have always had short haired dogs that really didn't require much grooming. A few months ago we rescued Mara, an 8 year old Border Collie that has some wild hair. After a few hours at Bayshore Pet Grooming, she looks like a completely different dog. She is even more beautiful than before. The staff at Bayshore Pet Grooming were so kind to her and very accomodating for us. Thank you so much for the great job you did.

I am very pleased with the service and grooming for Lucy..I have been coming 1-2 a season for 6 years and Lucy seems to enjoy her day at the spa...

I am pleased with the level of care my dog receives while at Bayshore Pet Grooming. He is a nervous animal and is treated well and with kindness. He always looks great after grooming. The staff has always been friendly and helpful.

I don't take my little boy anywhere else! I love the way Bayshore Pet Gromming does my dogs hair. They're clean, professional and overall very friendly.

My 2 yr old rescued Pit mix, Midi, is an AKC certified canine good citizen. When looking for a new doggie daycare, I visited this establishment. They told me Midi could not attend their day activities because of her breed. This is disgusting! Any establishment for dogs should understand the importance of "rescuing or pet adoption" and breed discrimination is ridiculous! A dog breed does not make a dog unsociable - an owner does. This is a direct example of the owners/managements ignorance. The personality of any dog should be the focus at any doggie daycare, and that is easily tested. Word of mouth is important for any local business, too bad mine will not be positive for Bayshore Pet Resort.

Very clean! Friendly and knowledgable staff! Best groomer in town!!.. AKC style haircut for my pure bred to perfection..Precious loved it there didnt want to leave..:0)

Customer service excellent, Very Very clean shop. All the staff were very well informed. I would highly reccomend taking your pet to them.... I FIRST wrote a review in July 2012 when took our first dog to see Barry and his staff. Since then we have adopted a Bichon from the rescue shelter. We stopped in to see Barry with Candy and even though they were very busy he took the time to visit with us and answer all of our questions. Candy who is very timid toward strangers seemed not to miond at all when Barry took her and held her. Again Bayshore Pet Grooming Is #1 and we suggest that anyone interested in finding the best groomers in the area should stop by and visit Barry and his staff. Super, Super Great!!! 10/01/2012

i brought my dog there to get groomed and spoke with the owner first of all they cut my dog bad under his arm to where he was bleeding and the rest looks like a butcher job they charged me $55 dollars when he told me $45 .i tried many times to reach the owner to tell him what they did cause when i brought my dog back they didnt care do not bring your dog here not only are they butchers they have a dirty store and many many complaints i should have checked this out first a nother learning experience for me these people should be closed just for their lack of compassion alone i was forced to give a one star rating but they deserve zero stars

've gone to this place a few times over the past 2 years and this last time I went, my dog's fur at the base of her tail was left with a large bald spot that was not there before. They also shaved around her backside and private areas way way too closely. The skin has become very irritated as a result. When I picked her up I noticed that she was not brushed out. When I got home I brushed her and a big handful of hair came off of her and that's when I noticed the bald spot. I never had a problem before this last time so it's possible someone had a bad day. We were going away for the weekend so I called the following week and they refused to take responsibility saying that my dog did it from scratching herself. Not nice. If you make a mistake, admit to it and move on.

I walked into this establishment to get a price quote on baths for my dogs. I have 2 pit mixes and a poodle. When i walked in i observed a dog being pulled from a kennel (pit bull) the dog was quite friendly. a older man walked up to the dog right off the bat and picked it up by holding its underside but then had a hand under the throat!! the dog was quite obviously choking!! i was so upset no one that was working there said anything about it! the dog was struggling to breathe!he handled this dog like it tried to kill him before the nails were done and that just was NOT the case! they finished the toe nails and the dog was taken to the bath. When the man finished has came to the counter and i asked who the manager was. i was applaud to find out the man strangling this dog was not only the manager but the owner! i have been working with dogs for over 12 years and just moved to the area. This place has been around for 50 years and i have no idea why with the way dogs are handled here! why is it they have not been reported!? my god! these people not only need a lesson in handling but in reading dogs for aggression! this poor dog was judged before it was even assessed for behavior problems! i almost cried. in all the years i have been working with dogs and training them i have never been bite by a pit! i have been bit by poodles (almost took my thumb off required a drain and stitches)schnauzers, Chihuahuas, labs, collies, and corgis! these people should be reported! i will never recommended this place and in fact i will deter anyone from coming here! bayshore pet grooming needs to be educated on dog assessment and dog handling procedures! i feel bad for the pets that are there and have been going there.

My "Gidget" is 17 years old, so I was very concerned with choosing a new groomer. From the second I walked in, I knew this was the place. Barry greeted me and Gidget and took down all necessary information regarding Gidget. Everything is in the open; the kennels, the bathing area and the groomers. Clean, friendly and real dog lovers. My only regret was that I didn't find them sooner. Thanks to Barry and Staff for your caring for Gidget. You have a new #1 Customer. I can't wait to bring in my labs for their pampering. I will be recommending you to all! Thanks again!

What a great place!!! Barry & Britney did a great job! Maxwell Ebenezer is sporting a super cool mohawk cut!!! Max gets more compliments on his hair cut then ever before!!! I add a little electric blue gel to hold it up & he is super cool!! The shop is extremely clean & the staff is very friendly!! Would highly recommend BAYSHORE PET GROOMING!!!! A+
