Emergency Care
59 year old male before, 3 days after and 4 weeks after injury of hid right forehead. Patient went to the emergency room with flap avulsion and lacerations, and was sutured and stapled in the emergency room by ER physician. He then saw Dr Speron in clinic and started the Scar Support Treatment. Patient was offered laser treatment, but refused at this time. Patient is very happy with the progress and scarring even though at his 1st visit, he was quite upset and anxious.

59 year old female patient before, 1 week after and 3 months after bilateral upper blepharoplasty. Notice the dramatic improvement. Patient felt much less heaviness on her eyelids and superior visual field deficit was better on eye examination. No fat was removed (usually not in Dr Speron eyelid procedures). There were no other procedures done.

78-year-old female before and 2 months after a mini scar lateral neck lift. You'll notice the dramatic improvement without any scarring in the midline. Patient had enough skin laxity to warrant a full scar neck lift but did not want the anterior scar. So the scar she got with this new minimally invasive surgery was a 3 cm lateral neck scar tucked under her jaw line and a 1 cm scar in the hair.

She loved her natural result and that she still look like herself and the procedure only took 35 minutes in the office under local anesthesia. Scar Revision
24-year-old Hispanic male before and 6 months after scar revision of a wide depressed lateral chin scar that bothered him. Usually inside PDS stitches are used to hold together the incision at multiple layers. The sutures absorb over 4 months to try to keep the scars as skinny as possible. Notice also that the scar is much shorter in length because short scar techniques are used to close it in on itself. This results in puckering initially but this settled pretty quickly, even in young skin.

Laser Resurfacing
Like the other resurfacing methods, the laser is effective in treating wrinkles, blotchiness or age spots, and scars from acne or other causes. It can be used on the entire face or specific areas. Patients with a variety complexions, including some darker-skinned individuals, may be treated with the laser. Certain other characteristics of your skin, such as its thickness and texture, may influence whether you are a good candidate for laser resurfacing. Dermabrasion

62 year old female before and 7 months after excision of right lateral forehead basal cell skin cancer. All patients undergo a shave biopsy for diagnosis to delineate what treatment is necessary. With smaller skin cancers, a simple excision in the office as a five minute procedure under local anesthesia is usually all that is required. You can see an excellent result was obtained. The larger a cancer gets, then skin grafts or flaps might be required. Patient also started using our Scar Support Product 3 weeks after her procedure. She did not have any laser treatments.
