I called this company for an estimate of my sick dog and they told me that i had to come in so i figured the price to be 200.00 or so, so my mom sold her old car so that i could get the money quick, i was getting some money on the 17th but I couldn’t wait that long due to the illness of my dog. so i get there and the woman tells me the total would be 274.00 of the one night stay to my amazement i told her i just had 220.00 and she said i would owe 54.00 the next day when i come to pick up my 15 year old dog i told her i would get any money until the 17th and she didn’t say anymore. so they took my dog back and i left her, the next day i come to pick her up and shane the owner told me that I couldn’t take her home that he would have to keep her and charge me boarding costs until i got paid on the 17th i was so surprised and felt like a criminal and was embarrassed and hurt and wanted my sick dog to come home so that i could take care of her, he wouldn’t let me come back the 17th and give him the money he wouldn’t take my credit card or anything knowing i was limited on funds he was going to charge me an additional 60 boarding fee on top of 54.00 to come get my dog on the 18th because they are closed before i get my money on the 17th on top of me telling him this he wanted me to go to Wal-Mart and fill her prescription which took my very last 14.00. I will never go here again and i can’t believe that there are people out there in this type of business , shane the owner doesn’t care about the animals he just cares about the money if you don’t have the money your out of luck and who cares if your pet dies who cares about working with your clients and trying to understand different situations and circumstances. The Lord is correct money is the root of all evil and i learned that today at crill and palm vet in Palatka fl. I was never so shocked and angry and humiliated and felt like i was a liar because he didn’t see on the chart that I had stated that i didn’t get paid until the 17th it wasn’t my fault the long blond and brown curly haired girl didn’t put it down. Just unbelievable. My 15 year old dog now has to sit up there 5 days until i get to bring her home just because of 54.00 plus the now added fee of 60 so 114.00. Never never go here again
