Dental Examination
Dr. Jones does a comprehensive exam to evaluate a new patient, or for patients that have not had a dental visit for more than three years. It is a thorough exam to evaluate and record soft tissues and teeth, including decay, fillings, restorative work, occlusion (bite), periodontal considerations, TMJ health and any other oral concerns.

Oral Cancer Screening

Teeth Cleaning
This is an exam done by Dr. Jones on an established Patient of Record. It evaluates and records the patient's current dental and medical status. The periodic exam usually occurs at the end of a dental cleaning appointment.

Veneers
Porcelain veneers are custom made, thin layers of porcelain that are bonded to the front of teeth to enhance the aesthetic and function of teeth that are discolored, have small spaces or minor alignment issues.
Crowns
The fabrication of crowns take at least two appointments. The first appointment is called the Crown Prep. Dr. Jones prepares the tooth, or teeth, and impressions are taken that will be sent to the lab. It takes two weeks for a custom crown to be fabricated. A temporary crown is placed to protect the tooth during this time. The second appointment is called the Crown Seat. It is a shorter appointment and less invasive than the initial crown appointment.

Root Canal Treatment
A crown can help strengthen a tooth that has become weak over time due to a large, failing filling. They are also used to attach bridges, or cover a tooth that has become discolored or is badly shaped. If you need root canal therapy, a crown is placed after to protect the tooth and canals from bacterial contamination.
