The Girl Scouts of Citrus Council is a nonprofit organization located in Orlando, Fla. The organization serves more than 25,000 girls in Brevard, Lake, Orange, Osceola, Seminole and Volusia counties in Florida. Its Girl Scout program helps to develop strong values and leadership skills in young women and adults between the ages of 5 and 17. The Girl Scouts of Citrus Council serves girls in kindergarten through grade 12. The organization s summer, day and resident camps provide several adventure activities, such as boating, crafts, hiking and swimming. The Girl Scouts of Citrus Council is a part of the Girl Scouts of the United States of America, which is a youth organization for girls in the United States and American girls living abroad.
