Hook Fish and Chicken

The shrimp and fries were great!!!! However the catfish was not cooked all the way! I called and the lady tried to argue with me that she dropped some catfish at the same time for someone in the lobby and they didn’t have a problem with the fish. If I didn’t live on the Southside I would’ve driven back and showed her. I explained to her again that my fish was not done! This was my first time eating here and I asked her if the fish is fresh and freshly cooked and she said yes. I could tell once I removed the batter, on the tips of the fish it was old! I catch fish and have worked in seafood all my younger days and I know Old fish when I see. That’s $11 I can’t get back. I have uploaded pics of the fish once I removed the batter... I believe I’d eat here again I just wouldn’t get fish!

Perhaps they have taken the feedback into consideration. This place was excellent in customer service when we went. The man even gave us a free slice of chocolate cake after we told him the food was great. We were surprised that the food was so good, it's not normally a place I'd go to, but so glad I did!

The food is pretty good here service is AWFUL! Honestly I don't care how good the food is I will never spend my hard earned money on a business that has poor service. Drove about 15 mins to this place at 9pm. They don't close till 3 am on sat. The door was locked and a man came to the door and told me to go to the drive thru. I walked back to my car to go to drive thru only for him to get on the intercom and tell me "I'm not taking any more orders sorry" ????? I will never spend another dime here until they learn the importance of service and how to run a business

Food is good but very very RUDE employees and the do not honor the daily speicals i sat in drive thur about. 5 minutes so i drive up and say to the guy your intercom is not working, He say to me yes it is i'm hear alone so i'm not worried about the drive thur

SO BAD. Unbelievably awful food and a rude guy at the cash register. Chicken was severely over cooked, fish was mushy and full of bones, and the fries were soggy. Beware - they have a strict no-refunds policy. Too bad the food isn't edible because the menu looked great.

This place is great and you will get plenty of food for a reasonable price. Lots of items on the menu. I used to go to the one in Arlington whenever i was in that area. So glad they opened one here in op right down the street from me.

If I could give it less than one star I would. Ordered the side plate of appetizers and everything was greasy, extremely salty and burnt. Also ordered fish and shrimp plates. Fries are disgustingly soggy and greasy. The fish and shrimp wasn't as bad as everything else. The pictures on the menu show food just as it comes out, very dark and nasty! You don't get tartar unless you ask for it and if you ask for extra, they charge 50 cents. No marinara for the cheese sticks, no ranch for the fried okra. Not that they were edible anyway.
