The Carriage House Event Center Inc

Beautiful country themed venue...that is all I can say about the place that is good. I recently attended a wedding there. It is located directly across from a dingy trailor park, yeah that's where I want my wedding. The caterer and bartending staff (that came highly recommended by owner) were pushy, horribly miserable and seemed like they didn't care about making the event special in any way. The electricity is a nightmare for any band or dj. Yes there are plenty of outlets, but they All RUN on the same circuit as the lights - that are on DIMMERS! Great way to fry expensive gear if you are responsible for entertainment. So, you get to have your dance party or that romantic dance under bright lights. There is no seperate entrance to the second floor where the ceremony took place, so the bride and groom had to walk through guests during cocktail hour downstairs (where the reception was held) to go outside and get their photo session done. So much for a grand entrance announcement to kick of the reception. I would not reccomend this venue for any event that includes any kind of entertainment. Or food. Or alcohol.
