Westside Middle School offers students classes from grades six through eight. Its curriculum includes English, social studies, science, math and language arts. It offers various additional courses, such as business, family and consumer studies, world languages, engineering technology and health and physical education. The school offers various programs, including before and after school care, drug testing, outdoor and special education, parenting classes and mentoring opportunities. It has various departments, including administrative services, assessment, communications, human resources, nutrition services and staff development department. The school comprises a family education center, community council, learning center, volunteer council, fitness center, cafeteria, and library and media center.
