Little Bear Daycare

I am a proud parent that sends my children to Little Bear ,not just one of my kids but, all my three kids .My youngest who is 4 years old has been in Little Bear since she was 3 months .I especially like Miss Nadia she makes sure the daycare is clean , and sanitized correctly if that means that an employee gets her feathers flustered because she does not want to do her job then that employees does not belong in Little Bear as for abuse of kids not true ,my son who is 8 years old and my daughter who is 11 years old have never complain about the care they received they, love going to Little Bear .This includes walks to the park ,swimming activities and theater trip to see plays that they participate with Little Bear Daycare.My kids will always go to Little Bear Day Care .

I'm a former employee of Little Bear and the treatment I witnessed to these kids was horrifying. Nadia (owner/head teacher) has picked the children up by there arms and thrown them into walls and chairs. She has smacked children in their faces for playing and verbally abuses them by telling them their pictures are horrible, what is your problems and how bad they are. No child in that daycare on a full day is over 4 yrs old. When the children are put to sleep Nadia and the other teacher Amanda put chairs on the childrens backs. Nadia has also picked up a 1 and half yr old and slammed him down yelling @ him he needs to go to bed and pushing his face so he would look @ her repeating to him "what is your problem? Why don't you listen?" Her son, has walked up to me with a two yr old in his arms saying "you can hit them here, we don't consider it abuse" When I first witness all this I was speechless. At the end of my shift I went home and called DYFUS on the center. There is currently an ACTIVE/OPEN DYFUS case on Nadia for the abuse/neglect of children. Needless to say after I made the report to DYFUS I was terminated. Should the DYFUS case not amend this woman from abusing kids then I advise you as a mother of three, PLEASE PLEASE do NOT put your child in harms way by sending them here. Also if your child comes home from ANY daycare and makes SUCH horrifying alligations, PLEASE DO NOT TURN YOUR BACK on your child and say "oh this happens with all kids when there away from home, or, they just had a bad day. ETC..." nine times out of ten they're NOT lying. Also DO NOT JUST LET IT GO! Call DYFUS or your local police and make reports. As long as theres no reports day cares such as Little Bear WILL continue in the abuse of children. SAY NO TO LITTLE BEAR

My daughter has been in this daycare for several months now. I am extremely happy with my experience so far and so is my daughter. There are times when she is upset when I come to pick her up because she loves all her new friends! Nadia and Slava go above and beyond making sure the kids are having fun and learning. They have also put together a nice staff of girls to help them! Compared to other day cares in the area (I looked at many) this is the cleanest I have seen with the best schedule. I hope previous reviews do stop you from checking out this daycare!

I just want to speak my mind on this un professional daycare. At first I fell in love with place everyone seemed really nice. My daughter went here for 5mths before I pulled her out. They make all the kids nap for 3 hours at a time which is ridiculous...no kid needs to nap for 3 hours. Also, they had my daughter napping in the kitchen those 3hrs because they said that shee would disrupt the others kids napping. Unacceptable!!! I came in unexpected one day and witnessed after my daughter of 3yrs told me. She said that Mrs. Nadia yelled at her constantly and was very mean to her. This woman is the owner who has a heavy Russian accent and has trouble communicating with the kids. Which probably why she yells all the time. Please think twice about enrolling your child in this facility. They have also denied me thier employee identification number (EIN) for my taxes so I have to figure out how I am going to file them on my taxes--if not I will have to report them to the IRS.

when i went to see the school no1 had a clue how to show me the place and all the kids were screaming in one classroom comming out the door
