They advertise 60 percent savings when name your own price. Then they advertise price guarantee. First off they use Agoda.com to book the room. Then they more expensive than the hotel. Then cannot tell you where the 29percent saving as advertised in their email came from cause...... THE HOTEL WEBSITE IS CHEAPER!!!! DO not use this company!!!

When I ordered my room on priceline.com, the room I was reviewing said it had a whirlpool. This is the only reason I booked this hotel. I booked it but when I showed up at the hotel, they said a whirlpool was not included. So what I saw when viewing the available rooms, was not the room that was shown once I booked it. And, they won't provide any type of credit. don't use Priceline.com. They are dishonest. There is enough other booking sites you can use such as Trivago, Kayak, Orbitz, Hotwire, or just call the hotel yourself. sometimes they offer a better deal any way.

I booked at the Chelsea Hotel in Atlantic City, NJ on 10/4. The hotel was suppose to be 3.5 stars. It should have been rated way less. We enter our hotel floor and it smelled like trees. Also our linens had blood spots on them and the ice machine room was completely dirty. I spoke with a hotel supervisor who offered a $40.00 food voucher. If the bedding was dirty, why would I want to eat there. The manager took my information but never got back with me in regards to the hotel complaint. I called Priceline to inform them I was completely dissatisfied with my stay and there response was it was nothing they could do because the hotel had offered a food voucher. I would recommend that no one ever stay at this hotel. I used Priceline before and never had any issues but this is absurbed and I'm completely dissatisfied with the resolution. Customer relation employee Ashley Id # 5260192 was no help at all.

Well lets see, they charged me $500 for a $200 stay. They sent me an email to add a room but instead it added a whole separate reservation and charged my card an extra $300 after it was already charged $200. I've talked to three people and they won't credit my account. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND PRICELINE TO ANYONE EVER.

Hi I used the service several times before. This time was the worst., and when I tried to talk to the customer service, they ignored my request and almost hang up on me. I don't think that I will ever use this site again, neither recommend to any of my business or friends. Thanks

I love Priceline's service but there is Horrible customer service! Refused to pull in my reservations I made via my email address online into a profile in order for me to have a consolidated trip itinerary. Excuse "system not set up for that" - well, take initiative and MANAGE the issue!

This companys price guarantee is a scam we booked a hotel in chicago started our bid at 150 and were told we cannot accept this price until we reached 200 then it was accepted we then went on the hotels website and found the room for 149 when we called priceline they refused to honor this cheaper price because they could not book 2 rooms at the same time and would have to do 2 separate transactions recommend not using this website just go straight to the hotel website customer relations department was also very rude Chicago

Customer Service is really not helpful at all. And any problem, customer cannot call or e-mail to the manager, only possible to send by regular mail in 2011!!! And the price is not cheap at all!!

Priceline is cheating to their customers using the name your price. Don't use it. I got my offer that's worse than what' available on the direct book from their search.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! I was told my 'offer' was rejected (I took the price they showed me) and was told I would not be charged. I got a email from American Express asking me if the charge was legitimate (not knowing my offer was 'rejected') and said yes. I have been trying to get the charge reversed (the offer was rejected) and they said there is nothing that they can do. It is very difficult to get someone to talk to, and all they do is say I am sorry. The web and automated service says my offer was rejected and there is no record of the ticket, but I still have a charge on my credit card.

I just attepmted to use the "bid" feature as a first time cust. w/priceline & selected my destination city with my bid offer. I followed the screens through their booking process and low and behold they accepted my bid. What they never showed me was that their computer couldn't find anyone to accept my bid as I entered in but the next closest airport/airline did. They automatically booked my family and I to an entirely different airport/city and then refused to refund the charges as I had supposedly agreed to the new airport/city. I spoke w/4 different customer service/care specialists who confirmed that my city code was entered correctly, however they continued to state that I authorized the change in airports!!! They did on a one time basis cancel my reservations, however felt that it was OK to charge me $300.00 in penalties for their computer changes! I find this business & practice unethical - this is the worst customer service I have ever seen!!! Will never use them again!!

Outrageous company which egregiously took advantage of my 86 year old Mother

My 86 year old Mother just called me in tears because she booked a ticket via Priceline specifying a particular return-flight date, but ending up with a return flight the day after she specified (not to mention arriving past midnight and then having to, at age 86, negotiate a 70-mile drive to her home).

The worst company to do business with. Bid high, even if the actual rate is low, you get high bid.

I asked Priceline.com for a room in New York, NY for April 8, 2006 April 9, 2006 and I placed a bid of $100.00. They email me and said they couldnt find a room at that price. The email said the lowest I could bid was $249.00 so that is what I put that bid in. I got a reservations from them for $249.00 plus $49.41 taxes and service fees for a total of $298.41. I then went to the hotels website to verify my reservation and the hotel had my reservation , but for a price of $219.00 plus $29.29; the is a $50.00 difference.I call Priceline.com and spoke to Jeff and then asked to speak to his supervisor and he gave me to a travel associate Diana and they both said that even thou the price was $219.00, I had put in a bid $249.00 and that was the rate I got even thou the room was for less. I asked to speak to a manager because I thought this practice was wrong and Diana told me Jeff was the supervisor, but just gave me to her. Apparently to get rid of me.
