Jim Brady's Restaurant

I'm with Lola (even though I haven't met her at Jim Brady's so far...) This place is an undiscovered treasure - simple but well prepared pub-type meals, very engaging staff at the bar and serving at the tables (cozy banquettes when the occasion calls for it), nice mixed crowd. I always go for their daily specials - I feel that the chef puts a lot into what's getting featured at any given moment.

Its a nice local Irish bar that gets a pretty decent suit and tie lunch crowd mostly due to its simple yet well seasoned menu and old fashioned leather banquets. They've got charming and well trained waitstaff which adds to the old-school-lunch meeting feel of the place. Somehow the college crowd and non-tipping European masses have overlooked this place in favor of other local venues. Its really pleasant on any night of the week.
