I've had 2 bad services so far from this Salon and will NOT go back EVER again. First a bad color job. I recently had my hair cut someplace and the stylist with 30yrs experience did NOT cut it how I'd asked so I called here and asked who was really good. The lady on the phone said she could cut it for me. She booked me for 1pm. I told her I had just washed me hair earlier that morning.
I arrive a few minutes early and she tells me that she was running behind and would not have time to wash it for me or blow it out. I told her that was fine because I had to be someplace by 2pm. She only blended a little bit around the bottom to match it up because it was uneven and was all the same length. I wanted it to be textured more. Also she just barely took some off my bangs. Before I called I checked their website to check prices and see what was included . Imagine my surprise when I get to register and was charged $47.20 for full service and that was with 20% first time customer! I questioned the clerk but she just kept telling me I got a discount. I checked out at register at 1:23 on my receipt!
I called to speak to Manager the next day and she told me that unfortunately they lump everything together and not just ONE service! I told her that if the Stylist knew she did NOT have the time and was running behind then she should have rescheduled me instead of charging me for FULL service! I'd have been more than happy to have come back. That is FALSE ADVERTISING and WILL NEVER come back. PLEASE BEWARE they are a RIP OFF!

They sent me a coupon to try the salon services. I arrived 10 minutes early, after sitting for 25 minutes I was told it would be about 10 more minutes. Really?? My time was not important to them I guess. Also after waiting 20 minutes another customer arrived and was offered a drink. I asked the snotty receptionist for one and she looked at my like "how dare you interrupt me" and stated "Well....of course (with a snarky tone).

Emily At the Ulta salon told me she was number 16 in the company, a complete expert, and that being an elite master stylist, she would be the best one to do my hair. I called to make an appointment for a cut and color and told her I was nervous to color (I had never dyed my hair before and I am a blonde.

When I came in, I showed her two pictures of EXACTLY how I wanted my hair, a strawberry blonde color all over. Instead, when she took off the foil, I saw that my hair now looks like thick stripes of red and blonde. Not only was the color wrong and awful, but it was only a few chunks of color all over and done poorly. I am greatly dissatisfied with how she did my hair, and I will never be using her service again. So much for being an "elite master stylist"

This is to inform all customers that got salon services when this store opened in November "13. The management hired a drug addict and let her do hair steal and had drug dealers come in the store to collect money she owed them.....Management was aware of this and did nothing....if you had problems related to Julie Henke and the services she did please contact the BBB.

I was in desperate need of a hair cut because I had split ends and trying to let my hair grow out. I love the store Ulta very much and decided to give the salon a chance because they were offering 20% off for first time guests to the Salon plus you what ever you spend at the salon will go towards your rewards card. I called Ulta Salon at 12pm and request an appointment. They said the earliest they could get me in was 2 pm which was perfect for me. I showed up at 1:45 and Claudia promptly assisted me at 2pm because she was finishing a client. Claudia did a great consultation and had her fingers running through my hair as she spoke to me. I really felt that she was feeling the texture and length of my hair so she could understand what I wanted. Over all when she was done cutting & styling my hair I was very very pleased. I was so happy with what Claudia did. My hair looked to healthy! I'm defiantly going back. I totally recommend Claudia at Ulta in New Braunfels. I got so many complements from family & friends.
