Hoover, John W III MD

I visited Dr. Hoover's office a week ago and I'm still upset at the abysmally bad treatment I received. I will not be going back!

I went in for a general yearly checkup. The Dr. only spent a couple of minutes with me and seemed rushed. Sure it's a busy office, but she did not spend the appropriate amount of time with me. When she walked in, she just said "how can I help you?" without any introduction, and without waiting for an answer.. She did not ask me the basic questions about my health I was expecting, and left the room too fast for me to ask anything of her. When I stopped her for a second to get my question in (in the hallway, in front of other patients even though it was personal), she answered with an attitude and made me feel like I was wasting her time. In the entire visit, I didn't see the Dr. smile once. I would not recommend this doctor to ANYONE. Especially if you have a specific medical issue, I would not entrust my care to her. Absolutely unprofessional and made me feel like I wasn't valued as a patient.

I was supposed to get labwork done but did not go. I have not received any calls or anything to follow up which seems unusual. This further shows just how little this doctor cares about the people she sees.
