I recently ordered a few items from etrailer, including a hitch. The hitch was delivered bursting through the box and severely damaged in several areas due to poor packaging by etrailer. I wrote to see what my options were for replacement. After several days they wrote saying they required photos in order to proceed. Several days after receiving the photos they said they could either give me a $10 credit or send me a replacement hitch. I opted for the replacement (I don't want to waste my time painting a hitch, which will still be damaged under the second rate paint job, due to their error). They sent another hitch and replacements for the other damaged items. When they arrived, the other hitch was yet again damaged due to poor packaging and they sent the wrong replacement parts. I contacted them again. They required photos of the wrong parts, and now they won't even offer a replacement hitch. Overall this was a terrible experience due to their poor packaging standards and awful customer service policies and turn around times.

From start to finish etrailer was a nightmare to work with. Ordered in stock, then told a part of the order was out of stock, told them to wait to send everything together. They agreed, then sent partial order anyway. Received all hitch parts 16 days later. Both boxes received looked like they rolled them to my house from etrailer. Items weighing over 70 lbs were repackaged by etrailer as though they weighed 10 lbs. Items received dented, scratched, stickers damaged, looked like my new $1500 hitch was dragged down the road behind my vehicle. Called them and complained, was told to send pictures of the box and parts. I did so the same day, which was 2 weeks ago, no response to date. Apparently they feel they are not responsible for getting me merchandise in an undamaged condition. The obvious assumption is that they just don't care. I will never use this company again. If you don't care what you get for your money, use etrailer.....and I can only say good luck to you if you do.

Erika W. at etrailer went above and beyond her call of duty to help me match the hardware kit to my older tow hitch. She followed up and did a lot of legwork in tracking down exactly what I needed. If etrailer places this much emphasis on customer service, it will be around for a very long time. I am very happy with my experience.

I have had a horrible experience with etrailer dealing with Bridget then with her manager Julie. They were not very helpful and the bottom line is it costed me $23 and I ended up with nothing, I would not recommend buying from them.
I was misinformed when I placed my order and went downhill from there.

Please tell Me WHO rides in this shop. They were no help, I had to go to TREK of Pittsburgh for my bike.
