        Predatory Pricing

        So, I'm redoing my kitchen and call Gavic (now Benjamin Franklin) to get an estimate for moving a sink drain, hooking up a new dishwasher, refrig and stove. Dude shows up and, after an hour of poking around, gives me the following estimate: $900 for moving the drain (pricey), $600 for plumbing the already-installed sink (ahhh... what?) $300 for hooking up the dishwasher (what a sec here...) $176 for hooking up the fridge -- one small water line for ice (c'mon...) and, the coup de gras, $479 for hooking up the range -- one gas line with a valve and coupling already at the stove (get the heck out of my house!!)


        Bottom line, this plumber practices PREDATORY PRICING. Buyer beware!!

        They had me wait all day and didn't come, but I was the first stop the next morning and got a discouted rate. They did an excellent job and had everthing needed on the truck.
