        Our mission is to support and promote the growth of volleyball in the South Florida community. The Miami Select Volleyball Club will offer training and educational opportunities designed for both the physical and mental skills necessary to master the sport of volleyball. The programs sponsored and supported by Miami Select will be supervised and organized by the best possible coaches that are dedicated to provide an honest, fair and competitive experience for players of all ages and skill level. Our primary goal is to build a strong community through the great sport of volleyball. We will have an open mind and an open door to suggestions that will give new opportunities to promote the sport and raise the level of play amongst all players regardless of age, ability or physical handicap. The Miami Select Volleyball Club was established in 2010 by club director Charley Albano. Charley's vision of offering affordable club programming with the best possible coaches has proven to be a great formula for the clubs incredible growth since its inception. His passion for the sport and his players shows in his coaching style, training methods and is reflected in the coaching staff. The coaches care and concern for the athletes progression, both on and off the court, is what Charley believes has been the most instrumental aspect in the success of the players who have participated with the club. Charley believes that coaches should be mentors first and coaches second. Positive coaching techniques and a genuine concern for a players progression athletically, physically, mentally and academically prove to be evident amongst all the staff members of Miami Select. We want our players to be disciplined and strong leaders in their schools, jobs and communities and we must do this by setting examples and not just talking about them. We are so much more than coaches many times and we have so much influence over an athlete and their behaviors.
