CVS Pharmacy

Yesterday my daughter had a prescription for flu medication called into our regular CVS pharmacy that could not be filled so transferred to Lexington Rd. pharmacy. She was informed the prescription would be ready for pick up in 30-40 minutes. Upon her arrival a pharmacy female staff member was rude and compassionately terrible as my 25 yo daughter had the flu and ended up in tears; not even offered a Kleenex. This person mentioned what Fun they were having and the older gentleman filling the prescriptions behind the counter sounded "gruff" in his interactions also. After a text about situation from my daughter about an hour after her arrival. I went to this pharmacy and had her leave; coming from after a doctor appt. of my own. Her checks were fire red, she was visibly upset sitting in chair directly across from pharmacy check out area. Later she mentioned feeling terrible as a pregnant women had also sat next to her while waiting for over an hour. After 10-15 minutes I checked with gentleman who appeared to be a pharmacy student; he checked and said her prescription had just been completed. In my opinion several of this pharmacy staff would benefit from a training in customer service and sensitivity. Also I know this staff was busy; however, I believe a triage system would help in situations as this one, particularly when a customer mentions they were called and have a contagious medical situation. This seems like a terrible work environment from my observation and not fun as described b employee who was probably being sarcastic . Our family certainly would NOT chose this pharmacy But have to use CVS due to our insurance.
