The Forum At Brookside

I have my mother at The Forum at Brookside and she has been there now since January, 2018. Care for her in my home just was not possible any longer with her loss of mobility and other health issues which existed. Though we always would love to have a one on one ultimate care scenario for a parent, it is just not possible. I would have to say that considering the realities of nursing home care and the burdens on those who work there, this is as good as it gets. I have to say that the personalities of those who work at the Forum are remarkable. They have some terrific people who interact with my mom and they joke and laugh with her. When the time comes to interact with hygiene and treatments of different sorts, it is always conducted with great care and concern. My mom requires bandaging and full care, and they provide it without question. They provide for her the ability to have many choices of social interaction with others, and the social staff is more than willing to get the residents involved. I have had the great experience of interacting with the overseer of the operations there and she has just been remarkable. I would not recklessly recommend anything on this site or anywhere else on the internet. I felt compelled to write this for it is a troubling experience to find proper care for an elderly parent, and any concerns if she was obtaining proper care and attention have been removed. I would obviously recommend this facility for it has been a comforting choice for me and my mom.....
