Russell Pottharst, DBA: SoCal Private Fiduciary, is an independent Private Professional Fiduciary (PPF), CA license #752. Russell holds 2 certificates in Professional Fiduciary Management: for Trustees and Conservators from California State University. Russell works with individuals, families, business clients, health and tax professionals, and attorneys who practice in the Superior Court of CA in family and probate matters. Russell maintains his Project Management Professional (PMP) certification with the Project Management Institute to facilitate consulting with various types of for-profit and nonprofit organizations to accomplish business and community objectives. His practice encompasses the Los Angeles regional area. A Fiduciary is someone in whom property and/or powers are entrusted for the benefit of another person, and can include almost anyone in a high position of trust providing personal & business services to others. While some states differ in their role names and definitions, generally a fiduciary relationship occurs when an individual acts as a Trustee or Trust Administrator, Executor or Estate Administrator (Personal Representative), Conservator of an Estate or Person, Guardian of a Minor, as well as other similar roles of high trust for the benefit of another person, like an attorney or doctor. Prior to entering Fiduciary practice, Russell was a management consulting professional with an MBA degree in International Business Mgmt., and performed program/project/operations mgmt. roles in various industry sectors: manufacturing, legal, trust banking, real estate, investment securities, IT, software and services, and biotechnology in both the U.S. and abroad. He has also held various offices and volunteer positions in nonprofit and industry trade organizations, such as the Project Management Institute. Russell builds on his financial, operational, and technical backgrounds by utilizing these valuable experiences in performing high quality professional services for his Fiduciary clients.
