Horrible place to go...... They are happy to charge you to see if they can help you. Then, if they can or will help you, they will charge you more money..... If they don't want to make the repairs or help you, they will give you back a box of parts and pieces. That way you cannot take it anywhere! Can you imagine showing up with a box of parts and asking a shop to give you an estimate for repair? Go somewhere else, anywhere else would be a good idea. You have been warned that you will be unhappy and disappointed if you support this business.

They have a huge selection of gas power tools and they are displayed really nice. They have some of the best prices on Honda generators.

The employees of this company seriously disrespect their customers.



I'm a General Contractor and as a courtesy to one of my customers I took a piece of equipment down to Lomita Lawnmower to get it fixed as it would not start. The customer asked me to pick it up and arranged for it to be paid via the credit card they provided when it was dropped it off. When I arrived, the door to their parking lot was closed and locked and there was no answer when I knocked. I looked in the service entrance which is right next door and an employee rudely and disrespectfully told me he could not help me and I "must use the front entrance". I walked around to what was actually the side entrance, and entered, only to find the same employee now behind the counter. I thought I was in a Monty Python skit.



I told the employee I was there to pick up the equipment. He seemed to know nothing about it. He eventually looked it up and said their was a balance due and I told him the owner had called and arranged payment, which he then denied. I called the owner and had him call the shop to straighten out the problem. The shop refused to release the equipment and decided they 'did not like my attitude' and told me to leave. The employee proceeded to verbally harass, insult, and attempted to intimidate me as I left and said the owner would have to send someone else to pick up the equipment.



As a General Contractor I am a professional and treat my customers with respect whether I like them or not. I would never consider having anything to do with this company again.

I have a Honda lawnmower I took in to this shop after I had it mis-serviced at another local repair store. My lawnmower still didn't perform any better than before. It turns out the place I took it to was not an authorized Honda store, that is why I brought it to Lomita lawnmower. To my dismay it turns out the first store I took it to installed all the wrong parts in my lawnmower. These guys replaced them with genuine Honda parts and cleaned the carburetor and now the lawnmower cuts great! The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because their hours of operation is a little strange. I work from 9-5, and they close at 5pm. So I had to pick it up on a weekend.
