One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning

I hate to have to write this review but it is unfortunately necessary. Jay Burk may say you can count on his company but that was not the case with us. I contacted this company feeling that since Jay was on the Lawton City Council, his company would be trustworthy. I have a 3 year old heat pump that went out. I stopped by their office in Lawton and was greeted by a fast talking technician that spent most of the time trying to sell me a monthly maintenance package. I was cautious of him but stuck with the idea that a councilman’s company would be in the up and up. When the technician arrived at my home, he spent about 30 minutes with me and said he thought I might have a leak but he couldn’t tell. I observed him putting dye in my system and then he said he put enough refrigerant in to have me working for the next two weeks and he would have to come back and check for the leak. My system still never worked. I then began doing some research and talking to other companies as well as the manufacturer of my system. All of them stated that due should never be introduced to the system as it will damage the compressors and other parts. The manufacturer will even void the warranty if they find dye in the system. Every other company I spoke with confirmed this and all stated that they are taught in school to never use dye. I then contacted another company who came out and within 5 minutes identified my leak and ordered my parts. When they came out to install the parts, they said they had to completely purge all of my refrigerant due to the dye being put in by Jay Burks technician. After the job was completed, the company calculated that the repair cost me more than $700.00 over what it would have if they didn’t have to purge and refill all of my refrigerant. They also checked the bill given to me by Jays technician and it showed that he was trying to over charge me by charging me for the cost of older refrigerant rather than what he stated he put in. After I completed more research to confirm this information, I drafted a detailed letter addressed to Jay Burk in the later part of 2017. To this day, I still have not heard back from him or anyone else in his company. This is not the type of business I would expect from a public servant. I was asked through a review I posted on Mr. Burks Facebook page to contact Mr. Burk. I did that and had to leave a message with a gentleman because Mr. Burk was out ill. I was assured that Mr. Burk would be contacting me when he returned. This was well over a month ago and still have not heard from him. This is not good business. I would expect more from a public servant and business owner that advertises how you can count on his company and him. Consumer beware.

Jay Burk is a horrible man child. He frequently posts ads on Craigslist looking for gay escorts. As soon as they figure out who he is he threatens their families.
He is also known to frequent the Asian Massage parlors in Lawton. Crystal Falls lovingly refer to him as "Big Baby". Something about wearing adult diapers while they massage him.
