Shoplifting

Jay asked us to trust him and let him go through his normal process. Because we did, my daughter never had to appear at a court date and shortly thereafter her case was settled. She received less probation time than the other girls. The court also accepted an online class that she took (One that was recommended by Chip) so she did not have to attend classes in person that the two other girls did. Jay followed through on any statement or promise he made. If you need a lawyer that will guide you and never steer you wrong, Jay Siegel is your man. I would suggest that you not worry and let him go through his process. He was knowledgeable and reputable. While I hope I never need him again, I would hire him in a second.
Restraining Order
A defendant may lose custody of his or her children or may be prohibited from coming into contact or within a certain distance of the victim in any way due to a temporary or permanent restraining order. A defendant may lose his or her job and may spend up to 6 months in county jail. Heavy fines may be imposed which will result in financial hardships for the defendant.

Although Nevada has allowed prostitution under certain restrictions in the state, it does not mean that you have the right to solicit prostitution – to ask another person to perform a sexual act for any form of compensation. When a person offers sexual services to an alleged "John," either or both parties can be arrested. Law enforcement in Nevada takes a hard line on prostitution, and it is not legal in Las Vegas or any part of the county. There are state licensed houses of prostitution in some other counties in the state.

Property Damage
Las Vegas car accidents are a common occurrence. Most drivers will be involved in an auto accident at some point in their lives, and as such it is important to understand your obligations if you are involved in an accident. In Nevada, a driver may be charged with the criminal offense of hit and run if he or she willfully leaves the scene of an accident. It doesn't matter which driver was at fault or if no injury resulted. Both drivers are still required to remain at the scene to exchange information with the other driver involved. If property damage alone results, and the owner of the property cannot be immediately located, the driver may leave a visible note with his or her information for the property owner to contact him or her.
