Factory Donuts

Amazing donuts, even better customer service! They just gained a customer for life.

I ate 5 donuts and each kind was perfect- light, airy raised rings; soft, pillowy cake donuts; buttery, dense old-fashioned's.

BUT what happened next left me astonished:
My wallet fell out of my purse in the parking lot and a customer returned it to the store. Gary (the owner?), tracked me down and left a note on my doorstep telling me it was safe and waiting for me a the shop... And I live 6 miles away.

Their donut quality is superb, but their kindness is even more impressive.

The owner of this shop is quite the colorful character. Some days she sweet and that is usually on days when the donuts are old, stale and lacking serious glazing. Then, on the days when she is spicy and on her high horse the donuts at least have some bit of glaze and may be if your lucky fresh... She is the only donut shop for some miles so this place is better than nothing but in all honesty I find her donuts to be quite old, stale and simply awful. The best donut shop is the donut shop by UW Roosevelt next to the subway right down the street and the Vitamin store in the strip mall. Not only does he make delicious and fresh donuts but his donuts have a really great glaze on them. He may have a soup nazi vibe to him but that's okay. He doesnt say much but he sure knows how to bake!
