I absolutely love this place! I can go camping next door at the KOA, and enter sawmill city through the campground. One thing that is a bit crazy is the height requirements, but honestly it is probably safer for the kids, especially for go carts. I don't understand why some people just can't accept the fact that their children are too short... Anyways, the water slides are really fun for everyone as well. All prices are generally alright actually.

WHAT A RIP OFF!!! on June 7, 2014 my husband and I took our children there just to have some fun. My husband spent $40 on tickets because our children wanted to go on the go carts. We knew that our son was going to need an adult with him and that was not a big deal, but we figured our daughter could ride without one, she is only 1" shy of 5'. I didn't want to ride because I have asthma and I also had a headache, but that is not the point, the point is our daughter is 1" shy of the 5' height requirement but another girl was able to ride by herself and she was about 2" shorter then our daughter. I don't understand how this is fair. My husband talked to someone I guess he was the Manager any way he said "We have a couple of new guys, and maybe the girl stood up on her toes to make her look taller." when my husband asked about a refund he was told " No you cannot get your money back, I am sorry." so we never used not ONE ticket, and we are out $40 because they don't do refunds. I am sorry but there is a Bart Simpson cut out where the ticket machine is and our daughter was just as tall as that, but there is another height cart down by the ride and that is when our daughter was told she was not tall enough for the ride(attraction). OK first off they need to have an accurate height chart not only up by the tickets but also by each and every attraction second of all they should make ever person stand next to them and be measured, Thirdly they should give refunds to unhappy customers, why? because if there are unhappy customers there are going to be bad reviews and well if enough people give bad reviews what happens to the business getting the bad reviews? Think about it. Saw Mill City is over priced and they do not give refunds. Also what would happen to Saw Mill City if that girl who got to ride today even though she was clearly not tall enough to ride alone got hurt? What would they have to pay out then? Food for thought right there isn't it. So yes, they need to change their policies and they need to give refunds to unhappy customers. I am even sending this to my local news paper.

Sawmill City

Went to Sawmill city on July 25, 2011. Had fun there , but the cost of the rides are why to much. $1 each time to ride the water slide and there is a jump zone thing right next to it in the same fenced in area. Have to pay for that to. I could see $6 for the go carts , but the water slide is nuts. Thats one thing I don't understand at Port Huron area. It calls itself the Blue Water Area, but there is no waterparks around there. I lived there for over 30 years. I just don't get it. Wake -up Po Ho .

Wristband Rip Off

Took niece and nephew for wristband Thursday and paid $18 each for 3 people to play from 4-8 pm. Rode the go carts once each and it started to rain. Sawmill City closed up, locked the gates, and sent home all their employees before 5:00. It stopped raining around 6:00 and the place remained all locked up. When I bought the wristbands I asked if the kids could keep playing in the rain and they told me yes...everything except go carts and batting cages. Instead they locked up and went home! So we paid $54 to ride the go carts one time!!! Unacceptable for them to close and send all their employees home when there are many people who paid a lot of money for their families to play especially when the rain stopped and we still had a lot of time on the clock!
