        At Haigh Quarry, your next step in scuba diving is only a moment away. We are located in Kankakee, IL on a 13 acre quarry and proudly provide a wide range of scuba diving instruction options, activities and gear to customers in the Kankakee and greater Chicagoland area. We offer numerous scuba classes that include PADI certification, PADI open water referral, open water certification dives, advanced open water and rescue diver. Our facility is open for recreational and instructional use. Additionally, we have specialty classes for enriched air, a classroom experience where you learn about the use and safety of enriched (nitrox) air, and a deep diver class. Our classes and services include: PADI certification classes PADI open water referral classes Open water certification dives classes Rescue diver classes Oxygen provider classes Equipment sales of rental gear that includes BCDs and wet suits Boots, hods and gloves and regulators with gauges Be sure to fully explore our facility, the classes we offer and get to know what options best fit you. We can also provide a glimpse into scuba diving with our discover scuba classes, with convenient options of trying scuba before committing to our open water class. Our other classes that get you ready for the water include peak performance buoyancy, search and recovery, wreck diver, dry suit, scuba tune-up, EFR (emergency first response) and PADI emergency oxygen provider. If you are a certified diver, come experience diving in a spring fed quarry. There are 9 varieties of fish plus plenty of underwater attractions. Blow a few bubbles while checking out the rock crusher, Artifact Park - a mockup of a 2,000 year old ship wreck, the SS Flamingo, LARC and Military dump truck. Many more interesting stuff to view.
