Alaska Taxi & Tours

We just arrived home from our first cruise to Alaska on the Eurodam. We discussed with Maria (Alaska Taxi & Tour) points of interest around Juneau before we left home. She suggested visiting Mendenhall Glacier/Nugget Fall and Glacier Garden, if time permit visit Macaulay Salmon Hatchery on the way back.
We texted her as soon as ship arrived at the port, and she texted back the meeting point. She took us around downtown Juneau area to see St. Nicholas church, governor's mansion and city hall. Due to large crowds from the cruise ships, she suggested us to visit Glacier Garden first and then the Glacier. She dropped us off at each location and we pay her based on the taxi meter. We called her at the end of each tour location and she showed up about 10 minutes later. She collected entrance fee ($17/person) at the Mendenhall Glacier for forest park service, because of her commercial vehicle license.
We liked Maria’s taxi service, because of the flexibility. We could stay more or less time at each location and called Maria when we were ready to go to the next location. For two of us taxi- fair was comparable to shuttle bus. The Taxi is a seven person van, so it would be much more economical for a larger party.
She was pleasant and talkative about her city that she loves. She pointed out several things on the way there and back. We would highly recommend using her.

We just arrived home from the first 2018 cruise to Alaska on the Ruby Princess. I made arrangements with Maria before we left home to take us to the Mendenhall Glacier. She told us what would be a good time to pick us up to miss all the crowds standing outside and was there on time waiting for us. She was pleasant and talkative about her city that she loves. She pointed out several things on the way there and back. She was waiting for us when we were done with the Glacier. I would highly recommend using her.

We scheduled a pick up to get to the airport at 4am with Maria. She was very prompt, courteous and her van was immaculate. She texted us as soon as she got to our place. This will be the ONLY form of transportation that we will use when not going in our own vehicle! She is awesome! Wish we could give her more than 5 stars!!!

We took Alaska cruise last week and stay in juneau only half day. I called Maria and asked her to take us to the glacier. She was very professional and kind person. She is on time and even took us to the salmon hatchery on the way back. It was great seeing the beauty of the glacier and the thousands of salmon swimming in the fresh water. Thank you Maria, we had great time with you and very appreciated your kindness. Also as family of 5, we saved lots of money comparing the cruise excursion prices. I could like to recommend Maria to everyone who has a chance to juneau.

We were also pleasantly surprised how affordable it was for our family! The Charter rate for her van was $70 an hour for the vehicle not per person! There was a fee for the Mendenhall Glacier in addition to the charter rate of $7 per adult. The tours we checked out on out on the cruiseship was $145 per person! We saved money! Our family were all together and she made sure we had a great day in Juneau, Alaska!
