Run away from this business !!! THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF From Hell To High Water. I brought them my riding mower in for repair they told me they had to replace the belt the blades and a couple of other things which I was find with ( I brought them a brand new belt that I got from Lowes ) When I asked for belt back they could not find it. I made the mistake of giving them my weed eater the day I picked up the lawnmower.They charged me for a new spark plug which I gave them and a couple of things I asked for the spark plug back they could not find it. The weed eater still will not crank ( I have the original receipts and packing's for both of. them ) When I checked the weed eater out the spark plug I gave them was in it and the something with the belt. They charged me for new blades they DID NOT REPLACE THEM that's how I know about the belt. IF YOU GO TO THEM YOU DESERVE TO GET RIPPED OFF !!!

I had an issue with my generator leaking gas just before the 12" of snow we got. I took it to Affordable Rentals in Hendersonville where it sat for about a week with no one looking at it, or even knowing when they would get to it. Boo! So I picked it up, called Phillips & Sons, dropped it off, and they had it back to me in two days. They not only fixed the leak, but also serviced it with new oil, filters, and spark plug. Only cost me $80.
I will definitely be using them again, and would highly recommend them to others.

This repair dealer was recommended to me by Generac as "factory authorized." I delivered to him a fully functional portable Generac generator to replace a bad bearing in the generator. He was very confident that he could repair the problem, and said he had repaired hundreds of Generacs. He said that he thoroughly checks every aspect of any generator he repairs, and no generator leaves his repair shop unless it is right. When I was called to pick up the "repaired" generator, the bearing was replaced, and working, however the generator no longer functioned as a "generator." Obviously, NOTHING was tested to make sure everything was "right" with the generator before he called me to say that it was repaired and ready to be picked up.



When he saw that it didn't generate any power, he told me to leave it "another day or two." He said that probably a wire just popped off somewhere in the control panel, and not to worry, he'd fix it. He had it another two weeks before I called him for a status on it. It was then that he told me that it was "fried," it was MY fault, and he couldn't do anything about it."



He had my generator for 2 and a half months and stopped all work on it until he could get wiring diagrams for the generator. He said there are many wires inside the generator, and he would go no further in disassembling it without the diagrams to put it all back together correctly. We delivered the diagrams, and he also downloaded them from the internet. After he told me that it was "fried," he claims that he never touched anything but the bearing in the generator. Why then, did he need all the diagrams? When he stopped all work on the disassembly, he never said at that time that there was anything "fried" in it, nor did he mention anything about it being "fried" when he called me to pick it up, after supposedly testing everything to make sure all was "right" with it.



He refuses to discuss it any further, and he refuses to refund the money I paid him (in cash as he requested) to replace the bearing. I am now left to my own devices to repair or replace this generator.



Avoid this repair shop at all costs!!! He talks a good game, but caused more damage than he repaired.
