Meadowbrook Grooming

For several years while we've been on vacation in the area, we have boarded our dog here. We can pick her up to have fun with us for a few hours, then drop her off again for the night. She's happy and clean when we pick her up and pulls us from the car to the kennel door when we drop her off. The price is reasonable. The staff is friendly. They are strict about pickup/drop off times (justifiable). We haven't taken advantage of the grooming services, so can't comment on that.

Well when you tell someone you will be there to pick up your dog and dont come when you said they can only wait so long before they go do what they need to. Also the dogs never just get left in their kennels to pee n poop on themselves.If your dog has fleas the bedding cannot be put in the kennel because it can cause other clients dogs to catch fleas and how good would that look to other clients. the dogs do get provided with bedding that is at the kennel just for that reason.

When I dropped my dog off everything seemed okay but then when I picked her up the owner wasn't there. She left a note on the door saying she went to the post office. I waited for her to return and when she did she was very snotty towards me saying that she waited all afternoon and she just couldn't wait any longer. She also stated she found a couple fleas on her so she flea bathed her and refused to give her any of her bedding I sent that I had just washed because it probably had fleas. Now that I have her back she has peed on the floor twice and she never does that. I get the feeling she was just left in her kennel and she peed in there so now I have to re-train her. I am very upset by this. The whole experience was awful and I will never take my dog there again.
