About Us: Pat-N-Pets Mobile Pet Grooming is located in Taylors, SC between Greenville and Greer and has been in business since 1994. In 1992 Pat and Pete were living Houston, TX where they met and married. Pete, originally from England, was an Engineer in the oil industry and Pat originally from Long Island, NY was a Supervisor in the convenience store business responsible for eight or nine stores. Pat and Pete realized they did not want to find themselves later in life, living in a large city in careers that did not make them happy. So, first they started searching for a location which would make them happy. A job in Greenville in the convenience store business for Pat came up which allowed them to make the move. After more than a year of Pete commuting between Houston and Greenville Pete gave up his job and moved to Taylors. In 1994 Pat realized she was tired of working long hours in the convenience store business so she resigned her job and enrolled in Star Academy For Pet Stylists Inc. in Stuart, Florida. At the same time Pete enrolled in a local grooming School in Central, SC allowing him to take care of the house and dogs and work on converting a 1990 Ford Van for mobile grooming. Pat and Pete have always loved animals. The idea of mobile grooming came from Pat’s brother who lived in Ohio, where at the time there was a six month waiting list for a good mobile groomer. Pat-N-Pets replaced the original van with a new commercially built mobile grooming van with AC/Heat which is totally self contained with a 7 kw generator for all the electrical needs, a 60 gallon fresh water tank and a hot water heater. This allows them to not have to hook up to your electricity or use your water. Pat and Pete have had no regrets giving up the big city; life and starting Pat-N-Pets in Taylors. The quality of life, the people and the climate in the Greenville area have any big city beat. Pat-N-Pets Inc. services the Eastside of Greenville SC. Located in Taylors between Greenville Greer. We take appointments Monday though Thursday and do both dog grooming and cat grooming in our fully equipped Mobile Grooming Van.
