        The doctors and staff here are top-notch. They are so professional, caring, and friendly. The technicians always explain things to me and make sure I understand the treatment options. I highly recommend you take your 4-legged children here. You will not be disappointed.

        Experience speaks for itself!

        After using many veterinarians around Kent County, I have to say that for everyday veterinary care, problem solving, and treatment, no clinic can match Dr. Hoekema at Westwood Hills Animal Hospital. The majority of his staff are compassionate, enthusiastic and professional. The clinic is welcoming and engaging. There is not an overstock of food products, and the vet does not over prescribe. Dr. Hoekema is a straight shooter (so if your feelings are hurt easily - tell a tech so she can deliver "bad news" rather than hearing it from him) but if you are looking for an upfront, honest veterinary opinion where the usual "practice" is replaced with "experienced opinion" you ought check out Dr. Hoekema and Westwood Hills Animal Hospital. They are the clinic we would recommend first for most veterinary needs.
