It is operated by SRP, which is one of the largest, public power utility stations in the United States. SRP supplies water to a more than 2,900-square-mile service territory in central Arizona. It provides electricity to over 934,000 retail customers in Phoenix. The company also maintains reservoirs, wells, canals and irrigation laterals.
