A-1 Automotive

I had an intermittent noise and took my car to A-1. They told me they would look at that afternoon and for no charge would let me know what the problem was. They called several hours later and said it was my A/C Compressor. They gave me an exact estimate and said it would be 50.00 less if I could wait one more day to fix it as the part had to be shipped in and the local provider was higher. They told me my car would be ready the next day around 5:00. Sure enough, around 4:00 the next day they called and said my car was ready. They told me they had to do some extra work on one of the A/C hoses and had to replace the serpentine belt as it had cracks in it. Even though this was not in the original estimate, they didn't charge me for it. I tried to pay for the belt and they said no. They said they should have noticed it and included in original estimate. The car was clean and ready when promised. I would recommend then to anyone who has an A/C problem. James in Georgetown
