Ice Heating & Cooling

Do not bother with this company. My wife called them on Wednesday morning, 4/12/17, between 8-9 am because our AC was not working. She was told that the technician would call (I was at the house waiting) after he finished the service call he was currently on. I get a phone call four hours later (just before 1 pm) from their office, letting me know the tech was on his way. Strike one.Strike two came on Thursday, 4/13/17. We were told on Wednesday that they would have to come back out to evaluate the issue further after the unit had thawed, since it was frozen over when he opened it. Okay, that's fine. We were told by the tech and the office that they could be here sometime Thursday afternoon and that they'd call ahead before coming. We explained that my wife would need a 30-minute notice so she could leave work to meet the tech and let him in. The ICE office contacted us just prior to 1 pm on Thursday, I told them my wife would be there within 30 mins and they said that was OK, as the tech was finishing/had just finished his last service call. My wife arrived home before 1:30 pm. and called their office by 1:40 to let them know she was here to let them in. The office tells her the tech was finishing up his previous service call and was on the way. Nearly 2 1/2 hours later, at approximately 4 pm, their service tech FINALLY arrives at the house!As if all of this wasn't unprofessional enough, after it was determined we had a serious leak and needed a new unit, my wife asked the tech for a quote on installing one with their in-house financing. The tech told her right then and there that the office would call her with a quote shortly. After waiting all the time she did just for the tech to come out and tell her this, she/we also never received any phone call the remainder of the afternoon/evening with any quote for a new unit. STRIKE THREE.Like I said, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME with ICE.

ICE service technicians will perform adequately. They are prompt and reliable. I've used them several times for different heating, central air, and heat pump services since 2004. A couple of the technicians had attitude problems but performed the work competently.

I am going to refer all my family and friends to ICE! Not only were they able to fix my heat faster than the other three companies I called but their staff even called me 30 minutes before the technician got there so I didn't have to take the whole day off from work. Every employee I spoke with was friendly and knowledgable and polite!! These guys are GREAT :o)

Fast, courteous service. Responded same day and repaired my furnace in the first visit.
