It’s a shame that you would pull service from celebrate Virginia of which you are contracted to serve in protest of Ted Nugent based on political opinions. I hope that the residents of Fredericksburg stand up and force the city to enforce any and all breach of contract stipulations in your contract. Then immediately terminate all remaining contracts and service agreements made with your ignorant business practices. I’m glad to see that the social media campaign against your poor business decision has gaining speed and is rapidly going viral. It has reached Florida already where I’m at and I’m doing my part to keep it going.

County Waste is not Stafford friendly! First fooling Stafford residents with reducing your rates from $24.95 to $21 per month (reducing by only $3.95) but also reducing your service by 50%. This results in a net rate increased to all residents using their service. Now they are forcing everyone to a once per week pickup or you face a 32% rate increase ($33/Month) to remain on the twice per week schedule. Shame on the R-Board for letting this happen...giving County Waste a near monopoly in our County.

I just received my letter for pricing increase do to picking up our trash twice a week. The letter states the public typically wants once a week pick up. What a joke and what a BS letter. My entire life I have received twice a week pickup with no additional cost. How does this justify a price increase if I switch to once a week pickup, Wear and tear on their trucks we are paying for? Give me a break. Call it what it is, cutbacks for employees and gouging the customer. Glad I'm moving! I give this no stars

Horrible people to do business with. I was forced to use these folks 4 years ago when I had twice a week service, they decided to cut everyone back to once a week service after 2 years. I was upset they treated us this way and swithched to better service. Well this service sold out to guess who?? When they took over they offered twice a week service again, so I stayed. Just got a call that they were doing it to us again and going to once a week service!! My neighbors are furious and will not stand for this treatment and are all switching again!!

The Voice mail in the Fredericksburg office is really confusing. YOu get voice mail and it says for the company directory press one. So you press one and it directs you to enter the extension you want or dial zero for assistance. If you are on a rotoray phone please stay on line and someone will assit you. After hearing that 3 times you get "Good bye" and disconnected.

I have found that since County Waste has taken over, the customer service and the service all together has become worse. When a small company is bought out by a bigger one, it's supposed to get better, not worse. In this case, it went from good to worse.

These drivers are absolutely the most inconsiderate on the road. I am on a private gravel road and literally fly in and out of this street. I've called 3 times, my neighbors have called several times each and all we get is "Well, I don't have any records of any calls, but I'll let the route supervisor know." He is always conviently out of the office! If I were to subcribe to a trash service it wouldn't be this one!!

Horrible service! They pick up when they want to, and you had better make sure your can is facing exactly the right way or they leave a nasty note. They don't answer their phones. Can't wait to drop them.....looking for an alternative in the area today. The don;t know what customer service means

the problem we have with that is we have automated trucks and the "fingers" can't grab your can and if it does it might destroy them. Our hopper is at the very top of oir trucks so it is hard to carry trash with one hand and climb a ladder with another. So we are not incompetent we are just trying to service your trash the best way we can while not destroying your personal property. The extra can was for encouragement for you to go along with this so this can be smooth customer service. -Thanks CW Driver-

I called to have the extra trash bin they dropped off at my house removed - I'd been using my own for two years at that point - and their CSR told me I had to use their bin because they had received so many complaints that their service people were destroying bins. Wow! Not only will they not remove their bin, but at what type of a business do you tell your customers your service people are incompetent and regularly destroy products? That was the day I began seeking an alternative trash service.

Was happy until I got their notice yesterday telling me they were changing the service to a combined trash and recycle pickup one day a week for "efficiency" reasons. Let's see, cut service by 2/3rds and keep same price. More like a 300% price increase in my book. I share their efficiency view. Two miles to the dump one day a week with the car is only about $3 in gas. Guess I cancel their trash service.

I work for county waste. The reason we ask for the cans to face wheels to your house is because our automated trucks grab the can easier and it's easier to close the lid on the way back down. We have a few kinks to get out but give us a chance we want to be the cleanest trash company around. Thank you

I had Shifflett's for many years and never had a problem, it really is a shame they no longer operate. I've had to contact CW already for missed service. The one thing that really irks me is they want the trash receptacle to be in a certain position or they leave a little note. I leave it on the grassy area away from the mailbox, however, once they empty it they just leave it in the driveway, blocking it. Put it back where you found it. I will give them an atta boy for the recycling service.

I lived in upstate NY for over ten years and always had County Waste as my trash service. I am thoroughly pleased to see they have come down here! They have always been very courteous and prompt. Give them a chance.

I moved from upstate NY and had County Waste for years and wish that they were available in the area I now live in (near LaPlata,MD. The company was innovative and and focused on the community and environment. Sure had to give up my trash can for one they supplied but I wasn't too attached to the old one anyway. Give them a chance and I'll bet they turn out okay for you
