Great place to eat and watch the ocean! The prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is ideal! The po-boy is a great pick!

Very casual. I noticed the sign “No shoe, no shirt, no problem” which is great to know for when we visit during the summer. We will be back. The crab trap dip was great and the blue legs were good.

I like to bring my kids to the crab trap because they like crab legs and their children’s menu offers them at a very good price, plus the laid back atmosphere is very kid friendly.

Very good lunch, the restaurant was clean as were the bathrooms. Our server was courteous and efficient with our orders. I will definitely be back for another Cajun mahi mahi sandwich, it has a nice kick of flavor and the fries were not soggy at all.

The ribeye I ordered was cooked precisely as I asked, and did not have too much fat and was very juicy. My wife said here St. Joe salad with crab meat and oysters were good. I tried one of the oysters and I must say they were good.

We had a wonderful time and a lovely waitress. I wasn’t in the mood deep fried so I opted for the grouper sandwich and I am glad I did it was fantastic.

The crab trap feast is wonderful, I love there crab cakes, not to heavy or light. With the feast I do not have to make up my mind what to order because it comes with all my favorites.

This is the second time I have to the Crab Trap and the first time I really was not impressed, but this time everything was great right from the beginning the hostess was as friendly as can be and even though we had about a 15 minute wait it was not unbearable, our waitress was very prompt and quickly got our drinks and took our orders. We were a party of six and all our food was served hot and while the prices were a little high, it was worth it the food tasted wonderful no over cooked or like it was sitting under a heat lamp for hours. Service and food like this will always in my book rate 5 stars. It was a great night thank you.

The Crab Trap has good crabs, and with the name it should. They were very fresh and not overcooked. Had no trouble getting the meat out of the shell and my 10 year daughter was able to crack hers open all by herself.

WE had a large party of 20 and the Crab Trap was able to accommodate the whole group at the same table. Most places really do have a difficult time with our large family, with dividing up checks and getting our orders right, but our server was very good at his job. All our orders were correct and the checks came out right. The food was wonderful, I had the Mahi-Mahi and it was presented and tasting as good as it looked. They do use a combination of paper boat dishes and glassware but the low key friendly atmosphere it is very fitting. Of all the items ordered no one sent anything back. Next family gathering will be here.

Lunch at the Crab Trap was very good; the portions of the baskets were big and fresh. Gulf shrimp are very good ad so is the po boy.
