General Info
We Believe:We believe that Jesus Christ is the only Son of God; and, our righteousness before God is based on His Grace and our faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and savior, and that Holy Scripture sets out only the name of Jesus Christ whereby our salvation is assured. We believe Holy Scripture was written for our learning and it contains all things necessary to salvation; and, that “All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness” (2 Timothy 3:16).We are Committed:We are committed to biblical Christianity and our worship follows traditional Angilcan liturgy using the Episcopal Book of Common Prayer. We are committed to the historic Creeds as sufficient statements of our faith; and, the Sacraments of the Church as outward and visible signs of God’s Grace active in the lives of faithful Christians living in community. We are committed to the spiritual growth of children and youth, as the future of Christ’s Church. We are guided by our Vision:Blessed by Grace …At the Historic Church of the Epiphany we celebrate that every person is Blessed by God’s Grace, undeserved and unearned, through which our sins are forgiven, our minds enlightened, our hearts stirred, and our wills strengthened, to transform each of us into the image of Christ.Responding in Faith …Our response to God’s Grace is our spiritual faith in the birth, life, and teaching of our Lord Jesus Christ and His atoning sacrifice of Himself on the Cross for our sins, and not for ours alone, but for the sins or the whole world.Celebrating the Gospel!Blessed by God’s Grace and our salvation through Jesus Christ, we celebrate as we proclaim with confidence the Holy Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ as found in the inspired word of God as handed down to us by the prophets and apostles in the Holy Bible to Baptize, teach, and make disciples of all the nations.
