Bushey's Bill Auto Repair

It's nice to find a mechanic you can trust. Bushey's has found less expensive solutions,(ie welding, etc.) to problems I have had in the past.

Last week when passing Bushey Auto Repair located at 142 Pearl Street, I noticed my state inspection is due. I was sure I would not have any problems, as not to long ago, I had few repairs done. But soon realized I was wrong. They failed my car stating it needed new struts. At my inquiry, they happily gave me a price. "We can fix it within $700." (I later realized they wanted me to have them do my struts.)Not knowing much about the car, I didnt have too much to say. I told them I do not have $700 now so I have to come back later to get my car repaired. They charged me $35 for the state inspection and gave me a receipt. Over the next couple weeks I contacted several other places to check what they charge for install new struts. Unfortunately, I did not have much luck, as I did not find it much cheaper. Finally, before putting out $600 to $700, I decided to get a second opinion on this. I brought my car to a different gas station and had it passed. consumer beware!!!!
