Team Kia Of El Cajon

I went to their big sales event last week because their mailer guaranteed that I had won a prize. I knew all I had "won" was a $5.00 gift card but, what the heck, I might have walked away with a new car or $25,000. As soon as I had proven that all I "won" was the $5.00 gift card they started a high-pressure pitch to get me to dump my Subaru for a Kia. Are you kidding? Dump a Subaru for a Kia. Then they wanted my cell phone number and my social security number just to get the five bucks. Really? I'm going to give them my SSN to leave laying around for someone to steal and my cell phone number so they can call me at work or while I'm driving? I can understand the sales pitch; I expected that. However, asking for my cell phone number is unacceptable. Asking for my SSN is absolutely outrageous. You never give that out unless absolutely necessary. It's just too easy for it to fall into the wrong hands. I am so outraged at them for asking for it that I have to give them one star.

Went in to look at a used the Spectra and ended up paying LESS THAN EXPECTED. I do not like being sold, but I do like buying cars. Salesman that I have encountered in a dealership I went to a week ago who shall remain nameless left me with a bad aftertaste. I was so relieved to meet an actual human being that does not smoke and spit while showing a car. I had a nice guy show me a brand new Spectra and the used one I came to see, I did not see the reason to pay the higher price just for a few less miles and after the most painless negotiating I have been through I signed and was on the road in total maybe a few hours I am a very happy customer and will come back and recommend to anyone else looking for a Kia!

I had the most enthusiastic sales people I have every had here. I went to two dealers before coming to Team Kia and as soon as I mentioned anything about my credit problems they dropped me like a hot potato. The two sales guys I dealt with at TK were pleasant and informative. When I finally told them i had issues in my credit they didn't even bat an eye. I apreciate the respect this dealer showed me. It took two days to get me financed, and now i am happy owner of the new Optima. Five stars for customer service!
