Cross Westchester Cleaners Inc.

This is the absolute worst business I have EVER encountered! I began using their services in May 2016. On multiple occasions when I arrived to pick up my belongings, they had no idea where my clothing was. If you do dare to use them, do not give them your credit card to keep on file. They will randomly charge you for things, even when you haven't dropped anything off! This place is a total scam. When I went in to complain once, the owner gave me a whole spiel about how his son had run the business into the ground and he had to take over to try and fix it.. well A) that is far too much information for one of your customers and B) you aren't doing too much better than your son buddy! On my final visit to them (in mid October) to pick up some of my belongings they (AGAIN) had no clue where my things were. When I arrived home that evening, I saw my clothing bundled up in a ball on the wet ground outside my front door. THIS PLACE SUCKS! I let the owner know I would no longer be using their service and I was very disappointed. I insisted he delete my account and credit card information ASAP. I thought this was going to be the last of my interactions with this business (thank god!) but then when I checked my credit card statement in the beginning of November, I saw that they had charged me at the end of October for $27 worth of dry cleaning. Clearly I hadn't used their services in that span of time.. I checked my credit card statement again at the end of November, and SURPRISE, SURPRISE, there was another charge made. I literally hadn't stepped foot in this place since mid-October, so explain that one to me?! I called the owner to ask about this, to which he began arguing with me saying that I owed him money. I hung up and immediately called my credit card company to dispute. SO IN OTHER WORDS.. beware! And run from this place. They are awful!

These cleaners are absolutely the most unprofessional people I have ever met. After using these people for years and years, I finally have had enough. I sent 6 pairs of pants to the cleaners a week and a half before I needed them for work. They weren't dropped off at the scheduled time so for three days I called and even went into the store. I was told to call back on Saturday when the owner was there. I did and spoke to the owner who said he couldn't find them and would talk to the driver. After 5 hours I called back and was told they couldn't find them and the driver must have delivered them to the wrong house and to just wait until someone brought them back. After ME calling THEM for 4 days, they finally were returned. I was told at that time that I would not be charged for the cleaning. Lo and behold, there was a charge on my credit card. I called and was told it would be refunded. I called again the following month and spoke to the owner's father who said he would take care of it. After the third month of not being refunded I called again and spoke to the owners father and said I had not been refunded and my next step would be to contact my credit card company. I was told, "Do as you wish," and was promptly hung up on. Neil, one of the owners, and Mark, his father are two of the most unprofessional people I have ever met and I have never been treated so poorly by a business, especially one who I have patronized for so long.
