        The Dixon Family YMCA, founded in 1872, is a nonprofit organization that helps to develop leadership qualities, communication, and social interaction and public speaking skills in teenagers. The organization offers specialty aquatic and adult classes for swimmers, nonswimmers and individuals with special needs. It conducts special classes in yoga, tai chi, and water aerobic and exercises. The Dixon Family YMCA offers babysitting services for children between the ages of 6 months and 7 years. The organization s preschool programs include music, playtime, and arts and crafts. Its KidStart is a preschool playgroup for boys and girls between the ages of 2 and 3.
