Richmond Veterinary Clinic

I've taken my dogs to this vet for 15 years. They have always been professional and courteous. Erin & Jaclin are most likely the rude, impatient, arrogant ones who expect everyone to cater to their every need. Some people think if a business and its employees don't kiss their a$$ they are rude and incompetent. Guaranteed, its the customer and not the business who is the problem in this case.

What can I say about this wonderful clinic? Four years ago, when our previous vet insensitively dropped us as patients with two severely ill English Bulldog puppies (who had giardia parasites and whipworms), just because we questioned the fact they had been "treating" them for weeks with no results and charging us an arm and a leg for that "treatment", Richmond Veterinary Hospital is where we turned for help. Between them and their affiliate Wilson Veterinary Hospital in Romeo, they saved our Bully babies and compassionately took care of our other dogs after the horrible ordeal. Dr. Guisinger and Dr. Donovan are incredible veterinarians and caring friends, and their staff members (like Anita, Virginia, Rene, and Danielle) are great, hands-on, and make you feel like family; and this goes beyond pet-related issues. After being sick with ulcerative colitis and kidney problems for a while, my mother (who was well known by the people at Richmond Vet) passed away in December, and my father and I were met with hugs, tears, and condolences, especially from Virginia. All in all, I would definitely recommend this animal hospital to anyone searching for an efficient office and kindhearted people who see you and your fur babies as individuals rather than dollar signs.

Just before Christmas, my two beloved pets had passed away. The receptionist told us that she would wait for us even though it was close to closing time. She was patient and walk us through the procedure. About an hour after closing, the receptionist (V) and technician (S) were still very kind and compassionate and never made us feel rushed. My whole family has been going there for years and I highly recommend this veterinary clinic

We have taken our family dogs here for years, however, my boyfriend and I recently got a pup of our own and have received nothing but disrespect from this clinic. They treat us like we are irresponsible pet owners, and trust me, we are far from it. The receptionists are constantly rude about your care and your bill, regardless of the efforts you make. I used to love Dr. G here, but not even his care is worth the stress and disrespect you will receive. Plus, he is always at minimum a half hour late to your appointment. Not worth it. Go somewhere new.

I went there last Saturday and I just felt rushed. There weren't any other customers at the time and doctor Donovan didn't really try to explain anything to me. I am in the process of looking for a new veterinarian. I definitely wouldn't recommend this facility.
