I'm usually not someone to write a review about a place of business, but this circumstance called for it. I have had the worst experience as a result of bringing my golden retriever here. This staff and the manger herself, Linda, are extremely rude, NEGLECTFUL, and unprofessional.

Don't take your dog here if you care about your dog.

Great grooming, they listen and care. My dogs love to come here. They call when there ready. The dogs don't have to stay all day.

Overall

I have been coming here for about 10 years, and my parents about 11 before that, so I think it's pretty obvious we love them. They are very affordable, but it's not just about the money, they DO care about the animals; their well-being as well as looks. It saddens me to see so many "bad" reviews, when I know just how wonderful they are. I think people need to remember that this is not like going to the salon and getting your own hair done, these are live animals, and very sharp instruments. They move, of their own free will, and these brave and very talented (in my humble opinion) groomers, have the daunting task of trying to make them look like superstars, while avoiding getting bit and scratched to hell in the process. I have had the unfortunate pleasure of being there to pick up my own little 'fur baby' and witness an irate customer belittle and berate them because their 'princess' didn't have a perfect face, and that was the main reason they were there; the reason she didn't have that perfect face was because she was biting, and it was a hazard to her as well as the groomers safety, but I never heard her apologize or offer any sort of sympathy about that. It is the groomers job to clean and cut our dogs; it is OUR job, as responsible pet owners, to TRAIN and socialize our dogs, as well as maintain their coats. You wouldn't keep your child away from other children, never teaching them right from wrong, and then one day send them to kindergarten would you? I also feel the need to mention that it isn't really fair to complain you didn't get what you wanted, when you were very vague in your description. They are not mind readers, BE SPECIFIC, and don't get upset that they are repeating your instructions many times back to you. You are paying good money for a quality cut, and they want to make sure you get exactly what you are asking for! I think I have ranted on for long enough. Bottom line: I love them, my family and friends love them, and several other customers I've met, love them. If only more of us would write our glowing recommendations instead of just passing the word along to friends and neighbors alike.

We've been taking out pets there for years. They have never come home with cuts or injury. They have always been very well taken care of and, the funny thing is that our male dog knows when he gets to go to the groomer. He gets so excited he can't hardly stand it! We start approaching the "beauty shoppe" and he knows exactly where he is going. He gets so excited, he literally wants to jump out the window to get there faster. It's hillarious. Wagging tails was recommended to me by a freind who used them for years as well. They are fantastic!!!

If you love your pet keep it away

My dog is seven years old, and since he was a puppy his been groomed every 3 months. He had his regular groomer for the entire time; however when I moved and brought a place here in Chino I decided to try this place Wagging Tails, Let me tell you my dog was not wagging his tail when I picked him up. Linda cut my dog so close that his cuts from his belly were bleeding. When I asked her what happened she started yelling at ME!!!!! telling me I was a bad owner???? Really ! She clamied that I brought him in matted and that his condition caused them to shave so close.. Now here is the best part- When I picked him up she gave me a card that SHE filled out stating that He was NOT MATTED and in good condition. I live in a very close community, and I now know of Five others who had the same problem. One of my neighors went ahead and tried them and guess what- His never going there again....Our Pets to some of us mean everything -----Keep them away from Wagging Tails.

Rude and lazy groomer!

I brought my cat to this groomer to have some of his matted fur removed. When the groomer was called up to the front desk, she yanked my cat out of his carrier, rubbed his body real quick with her hands and said he would have to be completely shaved! I tried to explain that he gets matted every couple of years and has been groomed TWICE at two different grooming locations. I also mentioned that the past two groomers each found a way to just shave out the matted fur only. He never had to be completely shaved before. She proceeded to argue with me where I then said I would be going elsewhere and left! She was not only RUDE but also a LAZY groomer. I will be making an appointment for my previous groomer!
