Located in Williamstown, N.J., Y.A.L.E. School Williamstown provides full-day educational programming to children with emotional, behavioral, learning and multiple disabilities. The school serves students between the ages of 5 and 21. Its facilities include a visual arts and graphic design laboratory, as well as classrooms equipped with computers. The school also provides vocational planning and support and job skills training and mentoring services. It is a part of Y.A.L.E. Schools, which is a school system that offers a range of special education programs for children and adolescents between the ages of 3 and 21 and was founded in 1976. Y.A.L.E. Schools provides educational programs to students suffering from health and communication impairments and emotional, behavioral, multiple and learning disabilities. Its schools also organize field trips to banks, libraries, malls, restaurants, supermarkets and public agencies. In addition, the system s schools conduct various activities, including planned social groups.
