Rented raft, which is not as big as you think. It will not hold 6 adults. I would not recommend more than 3 adults for comfort.



Our trip was good down the river, but ended up waiting for the bus to pick us up for two hours!



Thinking that a two and a half hour trip down the river, then given a bit of time to get picked up would not have taken a total of over 4 and a half hours of out total day. That equates to 50% of the trip being waiting for them to show up and then waiting for them to load up the rafts.



Basically, they waited for 5 other rafts to show up before picking us all up. This would have been fine if we had been told previously that this was their intentions. We could have adjusted accordingly. However, when leaving they stated that they do pickups every hour!



Needless to say, we were quite upset and missed an appointment later that evening by only a few minutes, which costed me money since I was not there on time. In the end, this made my river trip quite expensive...without any concern on their part, they saved money on not doing mutliple trips, so at least the ownership is happy, but who cares about the customer.



Go with Welch Mill. They had buses going every 20 minutes! They seem like much better option.



Also, be careful of posted hours. I've seen web sites list they are open until 9pm, not true. Their own web site only lists the hours they open. What's up with that?
