St. Jude Wellness Center

I was overall satisfied with the service provided for Physical Therapy here initially, however, their billing practices are quite shady. It took over 5 months to receive my first bill for services in the month of January. Then after finally receiving a bill, I was made aware that I was being double charged for every visit. For two months of service this amounted to almost $2000 out of pocket. I have followed up countless times and never once has a representative from St Jude business office followed up as promised. It turns out their explanation was that the charges are for each 15 minute increment, however, I never spent more than 15 minutes with a Therapist. Had I known I was being charged by a 15 minute clock, I would not have been so understanding when the therapist was 5 or 10 minutes late to work with me, nor would I have been so understanding when the Therapist had me wait on the table while he also worked with a second patient on the table next to me. If you are going to charge $96 dollars for every 15 minutes, that 15 minutes should be complete dedicated to the patient being charged. In my experience, this is very shady billing practices and most likely is only allowed to go on because most bills are paid by insurance who do not know what really goes on in the office. I would NOT recommend this Rehabilitation center to anyone unless your bills are being paid 100% by insurance and you don't mind being taken advantage of.
