        Mara Shaughnessy was so easy to relate to. Not only did she represent me with professionalism she truly cared about me. My case went to trial and she had a great courtroom presence. I would recommend her to anyone finding themselves in the unpleasant situation of divorce. She truly cares about her clients.

        I have worked with many attorneys for various issues Ms. Shaughnessy was, by far, the easiest attorney to work with she has a vast knowledge of the law and is very down to earth I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone needing an attorney in the Brandon area.

        Mara represented to the Orange County Probate Court that we (beneficiaries of deceased) were "unresponsive" to a letter that she admitted to never having actually sent to us. The court returned Mara's probate filings twice due to inaccuracies and improper language. Mara was unresponsive for weeks to the Court's first letter of requirements for corrections until we brought them to her attention. She claimed that the court never mailed the county's observations to her, though the court's replies were immediately posted on the county website. The resulting delays created more unnecessary expenses for the estate. Despite our urging, it took over 9 months to publish the the notice to creditors, longer to file the death certificate. After waiting six weeks, trusting her, we had to locate and file a receipt to the court for her ourselves. Mara insisted that hers is regarded as "Professional" performance. We can provide documentation supporting our assertions.
