        Somewhat disappointed...

        We ate at the Sage Cafe several weeks ago and enjoyed everything. However today we went back and my experience was not as good. I checked my flatware bundled in a napkin and first noticed the fork handle had encrusted food on it. Upon further inspection, the blade of the knife also did. Hmmm.

        It was cheerfully exchanged and we ordered our food.

        I know they close at 3PM and we arrived at around 2PM but the biscuits were hard and dry. OK, maybe we came too late for fresh biscuits.

        I ordered an omelette and encountered a piece of plastic in my omelette. They said it came from the cheese package after I pointed it out to them and perhaps that is so. They apologized and I said it was ok. What was I going to do?

        If I were a manager or owner, I would have done something, ...anything ...like a discount at a future meal for this to happen. I received nothing.

        Oh well. I felt a little nauseous for awhile afterwards but I am fine now. But, I just think the experience of our lunch was ruined. Accidents happen and it was not the end of the world. Bad luck I suppose.

        Service was great otherwise.

        I just wanted to share this.
