The CMC Performance Roller Screw (PRS) is a high force, high efficiency, low friction, lead screw based assembly that uses recirculating rollers instead of ball bearings (as in a ball screw). The CMC PRS is able to deliver more force with less required motor torque, reducing motor requirements and making it possible to deliver a smaller screw for comparable load performance. Creative Motion Control is a US manufacturer of Performance Roller Screws and Grooved Roller Bearings. CMC has designed Roller Screws up to 150mm in diameter with load capacities over 2 million lbf and in any level of custom configurations. Our smallest to date is a 5mm with load capacities in excess of 2,500 lbf. Please don’t limit your applications to these sizes, loads or dimensions.
